Joseph Delaney
All about the author of The Wardstone Chronicles
Joseph Delaney was born in Preston and has lived in Lancashire for over thirty years. After leaving school, he attended Lancaster University and then became a teacher before becoming Head of the Media and Film Studies Department at Blackpool Sixth Form College. Joseph gets up to write from 6- 7.30am every morning before going to work. The Spook’s Apprentice is the first children’s novel he has written. He currently lives in a village outside Preston with his wife and three children.
